We can produce a Rainbow of Ragdolls

Ragdolls come in a variety of colors and patterns. Out of the 6 recognized colors, we can produce 4. Please see these pictures for an explanation of what our current Kings & Queens can produce.

Colors

Seal color ragdoll cat

SEAL

A bi-color ragdoll will have color “points” on it’s ears, tail, face & saddle area. They have a white “mask” that looks like an upside-down ‘V’, and a pink nose. The chin, chest & underside are white, while it’s legs and feet are entirely white. Their color is determined by the point color of the ears. This little sweetie is a chocolate bi-color.

BLUE

The color “Blue” actually means gray. This is a blue mitted.

CHOCOLATE

A chocolate ragdoll has a light brown color (lighter than seal). This is a Chocolate bicolor lynx boy.

LILAC

The lilac coloring is a dilute of chocolate. A lilac will have a creamy body, gray points and an overall pinkish tinge. Their nose and paws appear to have a touch of lavender. What a magical color! This lovely lady is a lilac mitted.

Patterns

POINTED

Pointed, or colorpoint refers to the pattern where the body is lighter, and the “points” are a color. This boy is a seal point mitted.

MITTED

A mitted ragdoll has white “mitts”. But it doesn’t end there. Mitted Ragdoll cats have points in well-defined colors on the legs, ears, mask, and tail-but white feet. They can also have a “blaze” or white spot on their nose. They have a white chin that extends onto the belly. This is a blue mitted.

LYNX

A lynx point (or tabby) ragdoll can occur in any color, and can also occur in any pattern (mitted, bi-color, pointed). This can get confusing! But simply put, a lynx ragdoll will have tabby stripes on it’s “points”. This beauty is a seal lynx point, mitted.
